Yak & Yeti Restaurant Review – A Culinary Adventure at Disney’s Animal Kingdom

One of the best parts of a Walt Disney World Resort vacation is exploring the flavors of the world—and Yak & Yeti™ Restaurant in Disney’s Animal Kingdom® Theme Park is the perfect place to do just that! Nestled in the heart of Asia, this vibrant sit-down restaurant blends pan-Asian cuisine with bold, adventurous flavors. During our recent trip, we decided to try something new for dinner—and here’s how it went!

🍣 Amanda’s Pick: Ahi Tuna Nachos
Sushi-grade Ahi tuna, Asian slaw, crispy fried wontons, wasabi aioli, and sweet soy glaze.
This is one of Yak & Yeti’s most popular entrées—and it’s easy to see why! It’s a beautiful, colorful dish with bold textures and a fusion of flavors. That said, while it was fun to try, this one just wasn’t for me. I think adventurous sushi fans will love it, but I personally lean toward more traditional entrees.

🍔 Adam’s Pick: Korean Kimchi Burger
Grilled American Kobe beef burger topped with kimchi, bacon jam, sriracha aioli, and a fried egg, served with crispy fries.
Adam was excited to branch out from his usual go-to and said the flavor combo was super satisfying—savory, spicy, and a little tangy from the kimchi. That said, he still prefers the classic Kobe Beef Burger with sesame-soy mayo and his choice of toppings. Sometimes you just can’t beat the original!

✨ Final Thoughts:
Even though our taste buds didn’t find new favorites this time around, Yak & Yeti continues to be one of our must-do dining stops at Animal Kingdom. The atmosphere is immersive, the service is wonderful, and the menu has something for every kind of eater—from the adventurous foodie to the comfort-food lover.

✅ Pro Tip: Reservations are recommended, but they also have a quick-service option (Yak & Yeti Local Food Cafes) right next door if you’re on the go!
